Covalent Bonds

Covalent bonds are a poor conductor. Covalent bonds are usually solid, liquid or gases. Chemical reactions by covalent bond will be molecular. The polarity of a covalent bond is very low.

Molecular reactions are comparatively slow. Covalent bonds have low melting and boiling point. Compounds are usually soft and waxy. It has very low conductivity. Examples of covalent bonds are Methane, Hydro Chloric acid.
